Anastasia acted as a moderator for the section on corporate disputes and shared her experience about specifics of expulsion of a company’s shareholder from the company.
A request for the expulsion of shareholder from the company is quite common in legal practice. However, court practice on this category of disputes is usually reluctant to change no matter what the circumstances are.
During her speech, Anastasia elaborated on two cases from her practice that concerned the expulsion of shareholder and resulted in the opposite outcomes. Also, Anastasia provided some practical advice about the mechanisms of the expulsion of a shareholder by means of litigation.
